• Writing: Publish position/argument paper

Tomorrow is our pajama and movie day.  If you would prefer your child to NOT watch either Cinderella, Night at the Museum, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, or The Christmas Carol please send back the permission slip.

I truly apologize for the lack of blogs!  Busy, busy week!

• Fluency
• Math: page 174-175 all odds in Text book
• Writing: Write all the silly ways Mrs. Neuman tries to help you remember steps in dividing fractions.  Explain what they are and what they mean.

Thank you to all who have brought in a gift for our gift exchange and potatoes!

Tomorrow will be our ELA test over the last 3 weeks, so reread all fluencys.
Tomorrow will also be our topic 6 math assessment.  Study, study, study!

Tonight's HW is a bit different than the student's log:

• Read AR 30+ minutes.  You should be at 39% of your goal
• Math 6-5 P
• No Spelling
• No fluency
• Remind Parents about science camp meeting at 6 in cafeteria
• Writing: What are some ways to show responsible behavior when a substitute is here?  Remember to write for ten minutes.

Reminders:

• Science Camp meeting tonight @6 in cafeteria
• Bring a Gift for Gift Exchange, nothing more than $5
• Bring A bag or box of potatoes for Holiday gift baskets

Friday 12/5/14

Hi All,

Happy Friday!

HW for tonight is of course read, read, read!  Many of us enjoyed delicious ice cream treats for their current goal of 36%.
Monday needs to be at 39%!

Also, math is always a choice for Friday.  Either they can practice the lesson they learned today,
6-4 P or on Monday they can do two homework assignments, 6-4 P and 6-5 P.  Hopefully the right choices are made!

Try to get a holiday gift for our gift exchange, no more than $5!  Thank you to those who have brought in already!

Also, if you can bring in a box of instant potatoes or a bag of potatoes on the 15th for our food baskets to give to other Jefferson families!
